Library Catalog
There are currently 12 Library branches throughout Siskiyou County and your library card works in all of them. If there is an item you want to borrow and it is not located in the Dunsmuir Branch, we can request it and it will be delivered here as soon as it is available. Additional Media
Besides adult and children’s fiction and non-fiction books to borrow, we offer magazines, DVD’s, audio books, newspapers, and reference materials as well as Large Type versions of many of the titles.

Technology
We have free public computers and Wi-Fi, standard printer, 3-D printers, copy and fax machines.

Book Club
Our Book Club meets the last Wednesday of each month to discuss the monthly book choice the members agree on. We meet at the children’s park when the weather is nice, otherwise we meet in the Library or on ZOOM. Everyone is invited to join. Children's Summer Reading Program
Every summer, we offer a six-week Children’s Summer Reading Program for kids of all ages. We read stories, do crafts and play in the Dunsmuir Community Center garden.

ZIP Book Program
Additionally, there is a ZIP Book Program where patrons can request titles that are not in the catalog and will receive their request from Amazon at no charge to them. When they return their item, it is generally placed in our catalog collection.

Book Store
The Friends of the Dunsmuir Library group has a book store offering gently used books for sale at great prices.

Literacy Program
The Dunsmuir Library is connected with Siskiyou County Library Literacy Services. Ask for Debra Davis (530) 842 - 8807.

Streaming & E-Books
Using your library card, you can stream Kanopy movies and television shows for free. Libby is a new library reading app, loved by millions of readers worldwide. For more info on how to access these programs, open our Siskiyou County Library catalog and follow the prompts.

Alibris
The Dunsmuir branch has books listed on Alibris for sale that have unique value or is a collector’s item. If you donate a special book to the library, the library can list it on Alibris and benefit from the valuable donation.

Resume Writing, Job Search, Tax Forms
Our library manager Karen O’Quinn provides help in writing resumes and searching out job opportunties.
